Розмовна частина іспиту IELTS оцінює ваші навички говоріння англійською мовою в реальних умовах. Секція поділена на три підсекції: Знайомство, Монолог та Діалог. У цій статті ми надамо вам приклади запитань, ефективні структури відповідей та основні поради, які допоможуть вам досягти успіху в кожній підсекції.

Частина 1: Знайомство

Тут ви відповідатимете на загальні питання про себе та знайомі Вам теми, такі як ваш дім, родина, робота, навчання та інтереси. Ця частина триває близько 4-5 хвилин.

Приклади запитань:

1. What is your favorite subject in school? Why do you like it?
2. What do you like to do during your free time?
3. Where did you go on your most recent holiday?
4. Describe an activity you enjoy doing on the weekends.

Структура відповіді:

• Дайте коротку пряму відповідь на запитання.
• Наведіть приклад.
• Зробіть висновок.

Приклад:

Запитання: What do you like to do during your free time?

Відповідь: In my free time, I really enjoy reading books, especially mystery novels. I find them fascinating because they keep me engaged and make me think critically. For instance, last weekend, I read ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo’ by Stieg Larsson. It was so gripping that I couldn’t put it down. Besides reading, I also like to go for long walks in the park near my house. It helps me relax and refresh my mind after a busy week.

Структура відповіді:

• Дайте відповідь на основне запитання та надайте контекст історії.
• Розкрийте кожен пункт на картці з конкретними деталями та прикладами.

Відповідь: One of the most memorable classes I took was a creative writing course during my second year at university. The class was held in a small, cozy room in the English department, and the subject was all about crafting compelling stories and narratives. What made this class so memorable was the professor, Mr. Johnson. He had a unique way of encouraging us to think outside the box and express our thoughts freely. During one of the sessions, we were asked to write a short story based on a single word. This exercise not only sparked my imagination but also significantly improved my writing skills. 3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of different travel methods?

Структура відповіді:

• Вступ: Висловіть основну думку.
• Аргументація: Надайте причини та пояснення.
• Приклади: Приведіть відповідні приклади для підтримки своїх аргументів.
• Висновок: Підсумуйте свої думки або запропонуйте фінальний висновок.

Приклад:

Запитання: Why do you think some subjects are more difficult for students than others?

Відповідь: I believe some subjects are more difficult for students because they may require different skill sets that not everyone possesses. For instance, subjects like mathematics and physics often demand a strong analytical and logical reasoning ability, which can be challenging for students who are more inclined towards creative thinking. Additionally, the teaching methods and the resources available can also play a significant role. If a student doesn’t have access to good instructional materials or supportive teachers, they might find the subject more difficult. On the other hand, subjects like literature or history might be easier for those who enjoy reading and interpreting texts. In my experience, having a passionate and engaging teacher can make a huge difference in how students perceive the difficulty of a subject.
